placemaking + design
We’re passionate about landscape architecture’s role in placemaking, bringing benefits to both people and nature. In all of our projects, we will promote the creation of landscapes that inspire and develop a sense of identity.
That’s why we’re signatories to the Placemaking Wales Charter
Strengthening Landscape Identity
Less is more, simple design palettes which support native planting typologies, habitats and fauna.
fenton+reece look to strengthen landscape character through design wherever possible. Materials and planting typologies enrich the design language in to the wider landscape creating a strong connection to locality, setting and sense of place.
Sense of Place
We believe that landscape character and materiality will strengthen relationships with place.
fenton+reece have used native landscape typologies to create a mosaic of different landscape areas within this new sustainable school design. Creating identity and local character by supporting biodiversity action plans and nature recovery.
